should English Six episodes? The story it seems to tell – and it’s much more obvious now that the plot points have been pieced together – could probably have been told in three, or maybe four hours, of well-crafted television. But while the show did get loose at times (especially along that midsection), there was a nice sense of ease to everything. But Cornelia (Emily Blunt) has already defeated Ellie to the Black Eyed Mog. The female tabletop showdown is a tense and terrifying affair (exactly the kind of tense and terrifying that this show specializes in). We learn more about this villain – she had her eyelids removed by Native Americans, so she’s up about 50 for revenge – and also We see Behind her mask (this show delights in gory detail).
