Release the kraken! TikTok viewers are going crazy over a giant octopus that caught a user’s crab trap and wouldn’t let go.
Tik Tok it is home to a lot of viral content. Since new dance moves to viral food trends and more there’s something for everyone in the world’s most popular social networking app.
Sometimes, however, content is uploaded to the site that really takes your breath away… and that’s exactly what happened when TikTok user Brooke Satta showed an amazing moment from one of his fishing trips.
In her video, the Vancouver native showed a huge octopus hooking onto her crew’s shrimp trap as they reloaded their catch onto the boat.

“Holy, are you kidding!” one of the crewmates can be heard saying. “That’s so big!”
“Do you want to take it?” another question. “I’ve never seen one that big. Holy shit!”
“That’s a big octopus,” says another. “I want to eat it, but I don’t know how to get it.”
Despite the crew’s appetite for shellfish, the TikToker claims they allowed the octopus to return to the depths. “The octopus held on for a bit, then let go and swam down,” Brooke captioned the video of her. “The coolest view I’ve ever seen!”
