The New Year’s Eve fireworks extravaganza was presented by Atrium Health Floyd through a partnership with Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation. More than 800 shells were fired during the 13-minute show. Atrium Health Floyd and Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation have agreed to a sponsorship that covers several other large events, including the 4th of July fireworks and patriotic party at Ridge Ferry Park, the Leprechaun-a-thon Road Race and Health Walk in March and another road run and health walk in the fall.
