In the run-up to the release of “Avatar: The Way of Water,” director James Cameron responded to critics and viewers who have expressed doubts about the continuation of the franchise’s relationship: “They can’t remember the names of the characters or one damn thing that happened in the movie,” barked For the British film magazine “Empire”.
