Luis Q. Barroso, a man of the theater who worked for decades in the limelight and behind the scenes in a multitude of New Orleans Area Productions, died Monday at his Bywater home. She was 78 years old.
No cause of death has been established, said Charlie Hayes, a friend who worked for years with Barroso at the Tulane Summer Lyric Theater.
Luis Q. Barroso plays William Shakespeare celebrating his 431st birthday in 1995 at the Two Sisters Pavilion in New Orleans City Park.
