ecstatic music festival has announced the poster for its 2023 edition, which ranges from February 3 to June 1 at Merkin Hall at the Kaufman Music Center in New York. Ecstatic is known for its spirit of creative diversity, bringing together artists from all genres, particularly pop, rock, and classical music. As with him 2019 Editionthe festival spans several months as a series of concerts, rather than a concentrated music festival.
This year’s iteration of Ecstatic sees a pow-wow singer and experimentalist Joe Rainey paired with collective foursome owls on February 3, guitarist-composers william tyler Y yasmin williams on March 22, artist spanning all genres Moorish mother on april 28, singer-songwriter eye circuit next to the pianist Erika Dohi on May 11, and violinist/composer curtis stewart accompanied by the pianist aaron diehl, harlem quartetand composer/artist a group of swifts on 1st June

Joe Rainey and the owls
Pow Wow singer Joe Rainey performs his debut collection of songs on his just released album Niineta (released 37d03d), backed by electronica and Owls, arranged by collaborators Andrew Broder and William Brittelle. The album is a milestone in modern indigenous music, with bold and electrifying songs that recontextualize the old Pow Wow sound in strange new places in between.
