Imax Entertainment Chief Megan Colligan to Step Down – The Hollywood Reporter

In a surprise shakeup, Megan Colligan will step down as president of Imax Entertainment next month. The veteran Hollywood executive has been with the leading large-format exhibitor since 2018, when Imax CEO Richard Gelfond hired her to serve as the company’s liaison with Hollywood studios and filmmakers, among other roles. She is looking for her successor.
Prior to coming to Imax, Colligan was the president of worldwide marketing and distribution at Paramount Pictures, a role she left at the end of 2017. Previously, she gained recognition for her marketing work on award-winning, Oscar-nominated titles on specialty labels Paramount Vantage and Fox. Searchlight.
