You may not have even started your Christmas shopping, so it can be hard to understand that it’s time to make your New Year’s Eve party reservations. Sure, not every event will require reservations, and maybe staying home and binge-watching “Manifest” is more your style, but if you want to get out and call in 2023 with a few hundred of your closest friends, we’ve got your list.

straight no chaser: The accomplished a cappella group returns to Portland for the 25th anniversary celebration tour. The tracklist will likely include the release version of “The 12 Days of Christmas” as well as other holiday favorites. The group also does some lovely covers of Queen songs and music by Bill Withers. The audience can also get a sneak peek of new songs likely to be included on a new album due for release in 2023.

The ball of love: Ring in the new year at the Alberta Rose Theater with the musical group High Step Society, The Saloon Ensemble performing disco-flavored dance ensembles and the burlesque “Cat’s Meow.” This live jazz/burlesque show features Pink Lady Diann and Izhonny, as well as other performers. Only for over 21 years.
