Elon University / Today at Elon / Elon’s 2022-23 Speaker Series continues in January

Among those who visited Elon this spring were author Tommy Orange, neuroscientist Indira Tierney, CNN chief medical correspondent Sanjay Gupta, and actress Ashley Judd.

Elon University continues to feature speakers from the worlds of entertainment, healthcare, literature, and more this January.

The 2022-23 Elon University Lecture Series, presented in partnership with WUNC, includes events centered around the theme of “Living Well in a Changing World” that will provide audiences with the opportunity to hear from thought leaders and change-makers who are impacting the world.

Upcoming speakers in the series include Pulitzer Prize winner and Tommy Orange Award-winning author, neuroscientist Indira Turney, neurosurgeon, and Emmy Award-winning journalist Sanjay Gupta.

Also, Elon has rescheduled award-winning actress and activist Ashley Judd for spring. Judd’s planned fall visit to Elon is canceled due to severe weather associated with Hurricane Ian.
