It won’t be an exaggeration to say that Dirk Maggs has revolutionized sonic storytelling. Working exclusively in audio entertainment, the British writer-director has now become the biggest name in the field. That’s mainly due to the massive success of his adaptations of Neil Gaiman’s DC comic series ‘The Sandman’ for Audible, the Amazon-owned audiobook and podcast service. Notably, the series was also adapted as a TV series by Netflix.
