The charismatic cricketer led the team with the highest authority since the inception of the BPL, and a mix of youth and experience made Sylhet one of the biggest contenders for this edition of the BPL title. Also, the presence of another experienced cricketer in Mushfiqur Rahim has provided a lot of security in the batting line-up, and along with some talented young players from home and abroad, Sylhet remains a balanced unit.
